
Rex Nwakamma

Rex Nwakamma is a distinguished playwright, director, producer, entrepreneur, and life coach based in Katy, Texas. His keen interest in screenwriting, filming, and acting began at the young age of six, leading him to realize one of his most cherished dreams: filmmaking. Rex’s passion for creating impactful faith and family movies shines through his work, which aims to instill values that shape a positive and purpose-driven society.
Not only does Rex have a profound love for filmmaking, but he is also a dedicated preacher of the word of God and an accomplished entrepreneur. He graduated with an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Houston, Victoria, TX. His diverse academic background includes training as an IT engineer, and working as an IT consultant on projects ranging from systems migrations to application development and database management. Rex is a certified Cisco and Microsoft Engineer and a trained healthcare practitioner with an MSN in Primary Care and Family Medicine.
Rex presides over Oracle of God Drama & Film Ministry and Oracle Films, the Christian Drama & Film arm of RCCG The King’s Palace in Katy, Texas. Under his leadership, Oracle Films has produced several full-length movies such as “Dryness in the Brook,” “Hedge of Protection,” “Sunrise,” “Bloodline,” “Time to Live,” and “Exemplary,” as well as over 80 short movies featuring the creative contributions of youth and children. He continued this outstanding leadership when the organization was renamed TKP Drama & Films ministries, continually partnering with other faith and family-focused film organizations, he has produced numerous additional films such as Stranded, Between Life and Death, among over 20 more movies.
Rex also served as the Director of the prestigious MZIAIF International Christian Film Festival, which has featured international and prominent speakers, received over a thousand movie submissions since its inception, and awarded more than 250 accolades globally, with coverage spanning over 80 countries.
As an entrepreneur, Rex is the CEO of SageAlive Consulting Inc., a global organization that includes a consortium of vibrant enterprises covering financial consulting, health, and IT consultancy. He consults for various organizations ranging from oil and gas to strategic management. Additionally, he sits on several boards, consulting and providing support to mentor and empower Kingdom filmmakers all over the globe.
He has served as a consultant on diverse fronts ranging from Training, Project Management, manpower development, and recently Artificial Intelligence applications of broad base systems. His consultancy services covered several fields such as Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Finance, Engineering, IT, and Film Productions. He has been featured as a keynote speaker at a number of conferences and serves as a resource for diverse training and recruitment events.
Rex’s dedication to Christian film production is evident in his role as a board member of the National Association of Christian Film & Drama Ministers Network (NACEDRAM) and his active membership in the Mount Zion Institute Association International Fellowship. His passion for drama and film missions drives him to support mission work, particularly in Drama & Film Ministry, and to advocate for reaching beyond traditional mission barriers through Digital Missions.
Alongside his wife, Lola Rex-Nwakamma, Rex co-founded The Destiny Global Foundation, an organization in memory of their daughter, which focuses on providing access to knowledge and care for families and communities lacking resources to manage complications from congenital malformations, preventable fetal diseases, maternal issues, and more.
Rex is happily married to Lola Rex-Nwakamma, and together they are blessed with four children—Divine, Dominion, Delight, and David. He leads a quiet life in Katy, Texas, where he continues to make a significant impact through his multifaceted roles.
